€1,500 Charity Cycle Sponsorship
Dear Sean,
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to you for your generous donation of €1,500 towards our sponsored cycle in aid of the Fr. Peyton senior residential care unit.
The sponsored cycle on stationary bikes was a great success and we reached our target of 3,000 miles on the day. Over one hundred cyclists took part ranging in age from 8 years to 80 plus years. There was a great atmosphere and all on-lookers and participants were delighted that we reached our target of miles. We raised €11,129 for the residential care unit on the day and since then extra funding has come in.
Again many thanks for your generosity and we wish you and your family a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
Yours sincerely
Della Ginley
Manager
Steeltech Sheds are Helping Emma Beat It!
Sean Brett, Steeltech Sheds CEO presents a cheque to Emma Naughton Heavey for €9,000 in aid of the “Help Emma Beat It” Fund.
Emma Naughton-Heavey is an eighteen year old girl from Galway. She was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinorma, or Fibrolamellar for short. This cancer only affects one in five-million people, and there are less than 200 new cases diagnosed each year. Emma is undergoing regular treatment at great expense to her family. To help raise funds, a number of events were organised, one of them being “Monster Raffle Draw” which included prizes such as a 1969 Morris Minor Convertible and a Kingspan Insulated Garage both sponsored by Steeltech.
